Kebijakan Dinilai Tidak Pro Rakyat, Tapi Pro Modal
KEDIRI – Pengambilan gambar atau syuting untuk produksi film Yowis Ben yang diijinkan di Kota Kediri di tengah pandemi, sedangkan GOR ditutup untuk warga dengan alasan pandemi covid-19, dinilai sebagai kebijakan yang tidak imbang oleh Indonesian Justice Society (IJS) Kediri. Mereka melakukan demonstrasi ke Balaikota Kediri menuntut agar Walikota minta maaf karena telah mengambil kebijakan yang dinilai pro pemilik modal, bukan pro rakyat.

Dalam aksinya bersama mahasiswa yang tergabung dalam At-Tazkiyah IAIN Kediri. Mereka membawa spanduk bertuliskan ‘Keadilan di Kota Kediri untuk Walikota dan kroni-kroninya’ dan melakukan orasi yang berisi tuntutan mereka. Hanya saja, mereka tidak bisa masuk ke Balaikota, karena gerbang depan ditutup. Sehingga mereka hanya melakukan demonstrasi di luar gerbang.
“Ketika dilangsungkannya syuting Yowis Ben di Kota Kediri, telah mencederai hati pedagang yang ditertibkan di Gor Jayabaya. Seolah-olah pemerintah Kota Kediri berpihak kepada pemilik modal,” ujar Fatoni, Korlap aksi.
Menurut Fatoni, sikap Pemerintah Kota Kediri yang memberi izin syuting Yowis Ben di saat pandemi Covid-19 kurang tepat. Apalagi, saat ini banyak pedagang di GOR Jayabaya ditertibkan. “Prosedur syuting film Yowes Ben sangat berbeda dengan prosedur penertiban pedagang di GOR Jayabaya,”tandasnya.
Usai melakukan orasi, perwakilan demonstrans itu di kemudian diterima oleh perwakilan Pemkot Kediri. Hanya saja, pihak Pemkot menolak untuk minta maaf. Tetapi, pihak Pemkot yang diwakili bagian hukum, bagian umum, dan Kesbangpol itu, berjanji akan memberikan solusi terkait tuntutan mereka. (sul/mam)
Permit Film Production, Mayor Demonstrated
Policies Are Judged Not Pro People, But Pro Capital
KEDIRI – The shooting or shooting for the Yowis Ben film production that was allowed in Kediri City in the midst of the pandemic, while the GOR was closed to residents on the grounds of the covid-19 pandemic, was considered an unbalanced policy by the Indonesian Justice Society (IJS) Kediri. They held a demonstration at the Kediri City Hall demanding that the mayor apologize for taking a policy that is considered pro-capital owners, not pro-people.
In the action with students who are members of At-Tazkiyah IAIN Kediri. They carried banners reading “Justice in Kediri City for the Mayor and his cronies” and gave speeches containing their demands. However, they could not enter City Hall, because the front gate was closed. So they just held a demonstration outside the gate.
“When filming Yowis Ben was held in Kediri City, it injured the hearts of the traders who were disciplined in Gor Jayabaya. It is as if the Kediri City government sided with the owners of capital,” said Fatoni, Korlap action.
According to Fatoni, the attitude of the Kediri City Government which gave permission to film Yowis Ben during the Covid-19 pandemic was not quite right. Moreover, currently many traders at GOR Jayabaya are being disciplined. “The shooting procedure for Yowes Ben’s film is very different from the procedure for controlling the merchants at GOR Jayabaya,” he said.
After giving the oration, the representatives of the demonstrators were then received by representatives of the Kediri City Government. It’s just that, the city government refused to apologize. However, the municipal government, represented by the legal department, the general section, and the Kesbangpol, promised to provide solutions to their demands. (sul / mam)
