KEDIRI – Menjelang pendaftaran Calon Bupati/Wakil Bupati Kediri, 4-6 September, KPU Kabupaten Kediri masih menggelar Bimbingan Teknis (Bimtek) Pencalonan, Selasa (1/9/2020) di salah satu hotel di Kediri. Pada Bimtek itu, melakukan simulai mengantisipasi kemungkinan banyaknya para pendukung paslon yang hadir. Untuk itu, KPU menyiapkan layar dan live streaming di luar gedung agar tidak semua para pendukung masuk ke gedung pendaftaran.
“KPU akan menyediakan layar proyektor dan vidio live streaming untuk mengantisipasi pendukung yang hadir, sehingga diharapkan hanya membawa beberapa orang saja saat pendaftaran. Pendukung yang lain bisa melihat di live streaming yang kami sediakan,” kata Anwar.
Anwar menjelaskan, KPU terus berkoordinasi dengan tim maupun parpol untuk mengetahui kapan akan mendaftarkan paslonnya, sehingga KPU bisa mempersiapkan alat untuk streamingnya. Meski sudah hampir pasti pasangan calon hanya satu, Anwar tetap mengaku belum mengetahui pasti kemungkinan berapa calon yang akan mendaftar. KPU masih menunggu sampai masa pendaftaran habis. “Setelah pendaftaran, kita baru mengetahui pasti hasilnya,”tandas Anwar.
Untuk menjaga keamanan saat pendaftaran, KPU sudah berkoordinasi dengan Polri dan TNI guna mengantisipasi kerawanan yang mungkin terjadi. (sul)
KPU Anticipates Mass during Registration
KEDIRI – Ahead of the registration of Candidates for Regent / Deputy Regent of Kediri, September 4-6, the KPU of Kediri Regency is still holding Candidacy Technical Guidance (Bimtek), Tuesday (1/9/2020) at a hotel in Kediri. At the Bimtek, simulations began to anticipate the possible number of candidate pairs present. “The KPU will provide a projector screen and live streaming video to anticipate the supporters attending, so hopefully it will only bring a few people during registration. Other supporters can see it on the live streaming we provide, “said Anwar.
Anwar explained that the KPU continues to coordinate with teams and political parties to find out when to register their candidate pairs, so that the KPU can prepare a tool for streaming. Although it is almost certain that there is only one candidate pair, Anwar still admits that he is not sure how many candidates will register. The KPU is still waiting until the registration period ends. “After registration, we only know the exact result,” said Anwar.
To maintain security during registration, the KPU has coordinated with the National Police and the TNI to anticipate potential vulnerabilities. (sul)
