KEDIRI – Penetapan UU Omnibus law, terus menimbulkan gelombang protes sampai di daerah-daerah. Ribuan mahasiswa di Kediri yang tergabung dalam aliansi Sekartaji, antara lain HMI, PMII, IMM, dan GMNI, menggelar aksi demonstrasi di depan kantor DPRD Kota Kediri, menolak UU Omnibus law dan meminta UU itu dibatalkan, Kamis (8/10/20). Mereka juga menggelar teatrikal yang menggambarkan bagaimana rakyat akan mati akibat UU omnibus law, juga membakar ban. Jalan raya Mayor Bismo depan DPRD Kota Kediri, macet karena dipenuhi para demonstrans. Mereka datang secara bergelombang.

Dalam aksi itu, gerbang DPRD bagian selatan jebol, 2 penyusup ditangkap polisi, dan setidaknya 2 mahasiswa pingsan. Mereka juga sempat terlibat lempar-lempar batu ke arah polisi. Sementara massa yang lain terus berorasi secara bergantian. Demo yang dimulai sejak sekirar pukul 08.00

Dalam aksinya, para mahasiswa itu melakukan orasi, membawa spanduk, dan tulisan-tulisan berisi penolakan UU Omnibuslaw dan kecamatan terhadap para anggota DPR. Antara lain, ‘Turut Berduka Cita Atas Meninggalnya DPR’ ‘Dajjal Datang, Turunkanlah Nabi Isa’ ‘Jajal Koe Dadi Aku’ dan sebagainya.
Pada aksi suasana sempat memanas. Mahasiswa menuntut agar para anggota DPRD Kota Kediri menemui mereka. Setelah sekitar dua jam berorasi, dua anggota DPRD, Katino dan Ashar, menemui mahasiswa. Ashari sempat mengatakan Fraksi Demokrat sudah jelas menolak UU Omnibuslaw dengan walkout. Namun, para mahasiswa tetap meminta agar para anggota dewan keluar. Namun, tidak ada lagi anggota dewan lain yang keluar. Meski hari kerja aktif, para anggota dewan banyak yang tidak ada di kantor.
Suasana semakin memanas, hingga mahasiswa berusaha masuk ke kantor DPRD yang dijaga polisi dengan barikade. Mereka mendorong-dorong gerbang hingga jebol. Pada saat yang sama, muncul lemparan batu, botol air mineral, sandal, dan sebagainya ke arah polisi hingga hampir terjadi keribuatan. Namun, beberapa massa demonstrans lain segera mengamankan orang yang melempari batu itu, akhirnya dia dibawa pergi oleh polisi. Diduga, mereka penyusup.
Saat diinterogasi, pengakuannya berubah-ubah. Awalnya mengaku dari Trenggalek, lalu mengaku dari Mojo. Saat ditanya Mojo desanya mana, dia tidak bisa menyebutkan. Bahkan dia juga tidak bisa menunjukkan identitas dirinya.
Tamma Amini dari HMI, salah seorang demonstrans, saat berorasi mengatakan mereka menolak Omnibus law karena merugikan rakyat, buruh, petani, dan sebagainya. “Hidup rakyat. Kita menolak omnibuslaw,”teriaknya.
Sampai berita ini ditulis, sekitar pukul 13.30, ribuan mahasiswa itu masih bertahan di depan kantor DPRD Kota Kediri. Mereka menolak meninggalkan lokasi. Bahkan jumlah mereka terus bertambah, karena gelombang massa terus berdatangan. (sul/mam)

KEDIRI – The enactment of the Omnibus law Law continues to cause a wave of protests in the regions. Thousands of students in Kediri who are members of the Sekartaji alliance, including HMI, PMII, IMM, and GMNI, held a demonstration in front of the Kediri City DPRD office, rejecting the Omnibus law Law and asking for the Law to be canceled, Thursday (8/10/20). They also held a theatrical depicting how the people would die as a result of the omnibus law law, as well as burning tires. Mayor Bismo main street in front of the Kediri City DPRD, was jammed because it was filled with demonstrators. They came in waves.
During the action, the gates of the southern DPRD were breached, 2 intruders were arrested by the police, and at least 2 students fainted. They were also involved in throwing stones at the police. While the other masses continued to give speeches in turn. The demonstration started at around 08.00
In the action, the students made speeches, carried banners, and writings containing the rejection of the Omnibus law and sub-district Law against members of the DPR. Among other things, ‘Grieving for the death of the DPR’, ‘Dajjal Coming, Bring down the Prophet Isa’, ‘Jajal Koe Dadi Aku’ and so on.
During the action the atmosphere got heated up. The students demanded that the members of the Kediri City DPRD meet them. After about two hours of speeches, two DPRD members, Katino and Ashar, met the students. Ashari had said that the Democrat Party faction clearly rejected the Omnibuslaw Law with a walkout. However, the students still asked the council members to leave. However, no other council members left. Even though the workday is active, many board members are not in the office.
The atmosphere got hotter, so that students tried to enter the DPRD office which was guarded by the police with barricades. They pushed the gate until it broke. At the same time, there were throwing stones, bottles of mineral water, sandals, and so on at the police, causing almost a riot. However, several other demonstrators immediately secured the person who was throwing the stone, eventually being taken away by the police. Presumably, they were intruders.
When interrogated, his confessions fluctuated. Initially confessing to be from Trenggalek, then confessing to Mojo. When asked which village Mojo was, he could not say. Even he couldn’t show his identity.
Tamma Amini from HMI, one of the demonstrators, said in her speech that they rejected the Omnibus law because it was detrimental to the people, workers, farmers, and so on. “Long live the people. We reject omnibus law, ”he shouted.
