KEDIRI – Dalam rangka peringatan 75 tahun Palang Merah Indonesia, PMI Kota Kediri bersama Pemerintah Kota Kediri mengadakan pengkabutan disinfektan menggunakan dua mobil gunner yang akan dilakukan di tiga kecamatan secara bertahap, mulai 14 sampai 16 September 2020. Dua mobil gunner itu masing-masing berkapasitas 5000 liter. diberangkatkan Walikota Kediri, Abdullah Abu Bakar didampingi Sekretaris PMI Jawa Timur dr. Edy Purwinarto dan Ketua PMI Kota Kediri dr. Indrakso di halaman Balaikota Kediri, Senin (14/9).

Pada hari pertama, PMI melakukan pengkabutan jalan dengan rute Jl. Basuki Rahmat – Jl. Brawijaya – Jl. Mayjend Sungkono – Jl. Diponegoro – Jl. Imam Bonjol – Jl. A.Yani – Jl. PK.Bangsa – Jl. Airlangga – Jl. Hayamuruk – Jl. Brawijaya – Jl. Mayjend Sungkono dan Jl. Diponegoro.

Walikota Kediri Abdullah Abu Bakar menyampaikan terima kasih kepada seluruh relawan, khususnya PMI Kota Kediri yang sudah membantu dan bersatu padu dengan Pemerintah Kota Kediri menangani masalah Covid-19. “Mudah-mudahan di ulang tahun ke-75 ini PMI dapat selalu memberikan manfaat kepada seluruh masyarakat, khususnya di Kota Kediri. Alhamdulillah kegiatan ini terus berjalan. Saat ini sudah memasuki bulan ke-7. Tentu saya merasa terbantu sekali. Saya berterimakasih karena tidak semua daerah berkesempatan disemprot dengan mobil gunner,” ujarnya.
Mas Abu berharap virus corona segera hilang. Dia juga mengingatkan bahwa virus corona masih ada sehingga masyarakat dihimbau untuk selalu waspada, disiplin dan kemanapun harus pakai masker. “Dengan penyemprotan ini, mari sama-sama mengingatkan warga supaya disiplin. Tugas kita saat ini adalah menertibkan yang tidak tertib, karena masyarakat kita kadang-kadang melupakan masker dan protokol kesehatan. Kadang-kadang ada sebagian orang yang tidak mau memakai masker, kurang disiplin yang akhirnya merugikan orang lain. Harapan saya, masyarakat juga melaksanakan protokol kesehatan, karena kalau kita bergeraknya bersama-sama akan jauh lebih efektif dan efisien. Dan yang sudah terkena virus juga sudah kita urusi sampai sembuh,” jelasnya.
Menurut Mas Abu, kasus covid 19 di Kota Kediri sampai saat ini bisa ditangani dengan baik. Dia mengajak semua unsur bekerjasama dengan baik dalam menangani Covid-19, termasuk TNI/Polri, BPBD, dan relawan,” tandasnya.
Sementara itu, Sekretaris PMI Jawa Timur dr. Edy Purwinarto mengatakan, yang perlu diperhatikan adalah bagaimana masyarakat melakukan tindakan agar terhindar dari covid. Pengkabutan disinfektan dalam rangka mencegah penyebaran virus corona. “Akhir-akhir ini ada kesalahan masyarakat dalam mempersepsi tentang PSBB yang sudah berakhir. Masyarakat beranggapan, sudah tidak perlu lagi menggunakan masker. New normal tetap diberlakukan dalam rangka bagaimana kita tidak terjebak pada satu kondisi ekonomi yang menyusahkan, sehingga masyarakat diharapkan tetap menerapkan disiplin protokol kesehatan. Jika perlu, pada tahap-tahap tertentu harus dikenakan sanksi,” ungkapnya.
Sementara itu, Ketua PMI Kota Kediri dr. Indrakso menyampaikan bahwa PMI Kota Kediri bekerjasama dengan PMI Jawa Timur melakukan pengkabutan ke tiga kecamatan, Kecamatan Kota, Mojoroto dan Pesantren. (adv/bad)

Mayor of Kediri Abdullah Abu Bakar expressed his gratitude to all volunteers, especially PMI Kediri City who have helped and united with the Kediri City Government in dealing with the Covid-19 problem. “Hopefully on this 75th anniversary, PMI can always provide benefits to all people, especially in the city of Kediri. Alhamdulillah, this activity continues. Currently, it has entered its 7th month. Of course I find it very helpful. I am grateful because not all areas have the opportunity to be sprayed with gunner cars, ”he said.
Mas Abu hopes that the corona virus will disappear soon. He also reminded that the corona virus still exists so that people are urged to always be vigilant, disciplined and have to wear a mask wherever. “With this spraying, let’s remind the residents to be disciplined. Our task now is to curb the disorderly, because our society sometimes forgets masks and health protocols. Sometimes there are some people who do not want to wear a mask, they lack discipline, which in the end is detrimental to others. My hope is that the community also implements health protocols, because if we work together it will be much more effective and efficient. And those who have been exposed to the virus have also been taken care of until they are cured, ”he explained.
According to Mas Abu, the Covid 19 case in Kediri City has been handled properly. He invited all elements to work well in handling Covid-19, including TNI / Polri, BPBD and volunteers, “he said.
Meanwhile, PMI East Java Secretary dr. Edy Purwinarto said, what needs to be considered is how the community takes action to avoid Covid. Misting the disinfectant in order to prevent the spread of the corona virus. “Lately there has been a public mistake in their perception of the ending PSBB. The community thinks that they no longer need to use masks. The new normal is still enforced in the context of how we are not trapped in a troublesome economic condition, so that people are expected to continue to apply the discipline of health protocols.
