BAKAR DUPA : Salah seorang peserta aksi tolak calon tunggal kemarin membakar dupa di tengah kerumunan
KEDIRI – Rencana scenario calon tunggal pada Pemilihan Bupati / Wakil Bupati Kediri mendatang, terus mendapat reaksi dari masyarakat. Ratusan warga yang tergabung dalam Aliansi Penegak Demokrasi Kediri Djayanti, menggeruduk kantor Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Kabupaten Kediri, menyampaikan penolakannya terhadap rencana calon tunggal. Mereka juga meminta KPU untuk mempending pendaftaran, jika hanya ada calon tunggal. “Calon tunggal itu pengkebiran terhadap suara rakyat. Di Kediri tidak boleh ada calon tunggal,”ujar Khoirul Anam, salah seorang peserta aksi.
Khoirul Anam mengatakan, seharusnya boleh terjadi calon tunggal kalau tidak ada pendaftar sama sekali ke partai. Padahal, partai membuka pendaftaran calon bupati, melakukan konvensi, dan pendaftarnya sangat banyak. “Kalau yang mendaftar tidak diberi rekom, sedang yang tidak mendaftar justru diberi rekom, ini pelecehan terhadap masyarakat Kediri yang ingin mencari pemimpinnya yang kredibel,”tandasnya.
Dalam aksinya kemarin, mereka melakukan orasi dengan membawa sejumlah soundsistem, spanduk, dan sejumlah poster penolakan calon tunggal. Mereka juga menggelar aksi bakar dupa seakan-akan mengusir roh jahat partai-partai yang akan mengusung calon tunggal. Beberapa perwakilan aksi, kemudian diterima oleh para anggota KPUD.
Di depan KPU, Soni Sumarsono, ketua LSM Gadapaksi menjelaskan, rencana calon tunggal itu merupakan intervensi kekuasaan pusat ke Kediri. Mereka memaksakan calon yang kurang kredibel, tidak tahu tentang Kediri, untuk menjadi pemimpin di Kediri. “Masyarakat Kediri menolak intervensi kekuasaan pusat di Kediri, yang memaksakan kehendak,”ujar soni.
Sementara itu, anggota KPU Kabupaten Kediri, Anwar Ansori menjelaskan KPU sudah melakukan berbagai antisipasi agar tidak terjadi calon tunggal, yaitu melalui peraturan KPU. Jika sampai batas waktu akhir pendaftaran hanya ada satu pasangan calon yang mendaftar, maka pendaftaran akan diperpanjang. “Jika sisa partai di luar koalisi tidak memenuhi syarat, maka koalisi yang ada diperbolehkan mengubah komposisi koalisi, agar parpol yang tersisa memenuhi syarat untuk mengusung calon,”kata Anwar. Geruduk KPU, Reject Single Candidate

Hundreds of residents who are members of the Kediri Djayanti Democracy Enforcement Alliance, raided the Kediri Regency Election Commission (KPU) office, expressing their rejection of the plan for a single candidate. They also asked the KPU to order registration, if there was only a single candidate. “The single candidate is castrated against people’s voices. There is no single candidate in Kediri, “said Khoirul Anam, one of the participants in the action.
Khoirul Anam said that there should be a single candidate if there were no registrants at all to the party. In fact, the party opened the registration of candidates for regents, conducted conventions, and there were very many registrants. “If those who register are not given a record, while those who do not register are actually given a record, this is harassment of the people of Kediri who want to find a credible leader,” he said.
In their action yesterday, they made a speech by bringing a number of sound systems, banners, and a number of posters rejecting a single candidate. They also staged incense burns as if to drive out the evil spirits of parties that would carry a single candidate. Some action representatives were later accepted by KPUD members.
In front of the KPU, Soni Sumarsono, chairman of the NGO Gadapaksi explained, the single candidate’s plan was an intervention of the central power to Kediri. They forced candidates who were less credible, did not know about Kediri, to become leaders in Kediri. “The people of Kediri reject the intervention of the central power in Kediri, which forced the will,” said Soni.
Meanwhile, Kediri Regency KPU member Anwar Ansori explained that the KPU had made various anticipations to avoid a single candidate, namely through KPU regulations. If until the deadline for registration only one pair of candidates has registered, the registration will be extended. “If the remaining parties outside the coalition do not meet the requirements, the existing coalition is allowed to change the composition of the coalition, so that the remaining political parties are eligible to carry the candidates,” said Anwar.
