KEDIRI – Pasangan Mujahid – Eko Ediono menolak disebut-sebut dirinya mundur dalam bursa bakal calon Bupati / Wakil Bupati Kediri 2020. Mereka masih menunggu seluruh perkembangan politik yang serba belum pasti, karena belum ada rekom yang turun. “Tidak mundur kok,”ujar Eko Ediono, saat dikonfirmasi Kediripost (25/2/20).
Eko menjelaskan, suasana politik sekarang ini ada rumor yang berkembang macam-macam. “Yang jelas kami tidak mundur. Tapi kalau misalnya tidak mendapat rekom, itu kan bukan berarti mundur,”tandas Eko, yang dihubungi melalui saluran whatsap.
Menurut Eko, pihaknya masih berharap bisa mendapatkan rekom dari partai-partai yang ada sehingga bisa landing di Pemilihan Bupati Kediri nanti. Tetapi dia tetap menghormati apapun keputusan partai nanti. “Semoga dapat rekom. Kalau memang tidak mendapat rekom ya kami terima, wong memang itu keputusan masing-masing partai yang harus kita hormat,”tambahnya.
Jika tidak mendapat rekom dari partai-partai, apakah Mujahid – Eko akan mengambil langkah jalur lain, yaitu mengumpulkan 25 persen suara Pemilu Legislatif? Sebagai jalan satu-satunya untuk bisa menjadi calon Bupati / Wakil Bupati Kediri? Karena jalur independen sudah ditutup. “Belum ada rencana kea rah situ,”jawab Eko.
Sementara itu, Dodik Purwanto, sekretaris DPC PDIP Kabupaten Kediri mengakui adanya selentingan Mujahid – Eko akan mundur saat pertemuan di kantor DPC PDIP Kabupaten Kediri. Hanya saja, penyampaian itu dilakukan oleh seseorang dengan nada guyon. “Baru kabar burung. Belum ada pernyataan resmi. Info itu guyonan, bukan dari beliau (Sutrisno atau Mujahid,re) nya,”kata Dodik.
