Pasangan Calon Lain Sudah Tertutup
(mam)
Gerindra turn to Dhito
KEDIRI- Opportunities for the emergence of Kediri Regent candidates outside Hanindhito Himawan Pramana alias Dhito in the Regional Election of Kediri, are closed. Certainly, Dhito will be the sole candidate in the upcoming 9 December elections. That certainty, after circulating photos Dhito received a letter of recommendation from the Gerindra Party DPP. Only, the elite DPC Gerindra Party, DPC chairman Arif Junaidi and his secretary, M. Rozaq, could not yet be met. When confirmed through whatsap channel also did not give an answer.
While the secretary of DPC PDIP Kediri Regency, Dodik Purwanto confirmed the existence of a recommendation from the Gerindra Party to Dhito as a Candidate for Regent of Kediri. “Yes, Gerindra has gone to Mas Dhito,” Dodik said.
Thus, only three parties owning seats in the Kediri Regency DPRD, which have not issued a recommendation in the Kediri District Election, namely PPP, the Democratic Party, and PKS. “Yes, the three parties have not physically submitted recommendations,” he said.
On the other hand, if the three PPP parties, the Democratic Party and the PKS carry their own candidates for regent, it is not sufficient to meet the requirements, because the minimum limit of joint parties to be able to carry the pairs of candidates for regent and deputy regent is 10 seats in the DPRD. While the combination of the three parties was also merged there were only 6 seats, namely PPP 2 seats, Democrat Party 3 seats, and PKS 1 seat.
Previously, information had circulated three parties, namely PPP, the Democratic Party, and Gerindra, trying to carry the pair of Mujahid-Eko Ediono candidates to avoid a single candidate. However, after news of Gerindra brought Dhito, the opportunity was already closed.
Actually, there are still other pathways to carry the pair of candidates, namely the joint path of parties with 25 percent of valid votes in the Legislative Elections. However, if calculated from the results of valid votes, the combined votes of the three parties plus all non-parliamentary parties, their votes remain inadequate. So it is certain that in the Kediri Regent Election on December 9, 2020, there will only be one pair of candidates or a single candidate against an empty roof. (mam)
