Thousands of NU Cadres, Demonstration to PKB
Urge NU’s Assets to be Immediately Hand Over
KEDIRI – The conflict between PKB and NU ahead of the Pilkada continues to escalate. Thousands of NU cadres in Kediri Regency held a demonstration at the DPC PKB office in Kediri Regency, Thursday (10/9/2020) demanding that NU’s assets in the form of land and buildings now used for PKB offices be immediately handed over to NU. This is because PKB is now considered to be inconsistent with the values in NU and the struggle in NU.
In this action, he brought a number of NU Autonomous Body (Banom) flags and writings demanding the return of NU’s assets. They made speeches denouncing PKB. The PKB flag on the flagpole in front of the PKB office, they replaced with the NU flag. The board reads DPC PKB Kediri Regency, they cover it with a white cloth that reads ‘Aset NU’.
In fact, they planned to carry out the action of sealing the PKB office door. But after negotiating with the police, the sealing was undone. During the action, none of the PKB administrators met the demonstrators. In the PKB office itself, KH Farouk Umar, chairman of the PKB DPC syuro council, Muhtar, PKB treasurer, and several other administrators. Meanwhile, the head of the DPC PKB Sentot Djamaluddin was not there, because the info was that he was out of town.
The chairman of the Kediri Regency PKB Syuro Council, KH Farouk Umar, explained that he acknowledged that the PKB office legally belonged to the PCNU Kediri Regency. If the PCNU wanted the PKB office to move, they were ready. However, until now there has been no letter from PCNU regarding the asset request. “We submitted the certificate to PCNU about eight months ago. We are ready to go if there are results of the PCNU plenary and the PCNU letter. Until now there has been no letter from NU to PKB regarding the request for these assets, ”said Gus Farouk, when met at the PKB office.
Gus Farouk explained that legally the PKB office was indeed in the name of PCNU. But the purchase and construction are all the results of the PKB efforts of the late (late) Sulaiman Lubis and (late) Muhaimin Hadi. The asset was deliberately on behalf of NU with the consideration that the party could dissolve, while NU was unlikely to disband. Second, PKB was founded by NU. So that the PKB assets are named NU. S “The history is like that,” said Gus Farouk.
Regarding the PKB office on behalf of NU, there is also a clause that as long as the PKB still exists, the asset is used as the PKB office of Kediri Regency. “The clause is also notarized, apart from the certificates that have been submitted,” added Gus Farouk.
Meanwhile, Nurbaedah, one of the PCNU administrators who came to the PKB office, when confirmed, confirmed that the PKB office certificate in NU’s name had been received by NU. Incidentally Nurbaedah herself accepted that time. “Indeed, apart from the handing over of the certificate, there is a clause. Now the certificate is stored at NU, “he added.
Nurbaedah did not want to provide an explanation regarding what might have happened to the PKB office. Because he’s not in the capacity to decide. “This is just an explanation,” said Nurbaedah. (sul / mam)
