KEDIRI – Meluasnya wabah virus corona yang membuat heboh dunia belakangan ini, memantik umat Tri Dharma Tjoe Hwie Kong Kediri untuk ikut prihatin. Dalam rangkaian peringatan Imlek 2020, Sabtu (1/2/20) kemarin, mereka menggelar doa Ci Suak atau doa tolak balak, agar warga Kota Kediri dan sekitarnya tidak sampai terkena virus corona. Sedangkan malamnya, mereka menggelar doa syukur King Thi Kong.
Ketua Tri Dharma Tjoe Hwie Kiong, Prayitno menjelaskan, doa Ci Suak ini sengaja dilakukan agar warga Kediri tidak sampai terkena virus Corona yang sangat menakutkan itu. Sebab, memang warga Kediri ada yang sedang berada di China. “Kita berharap warga Kediri aman dari virus corona,”kata Prayitno, di sela-sela doa Ci Suak.
Menurut Prayitno, doa Ci Suak atau tolak balak dan doa syukur King Thi Kong, ini merupakan rangkaian kegiatan Tri Dharma Tjoe Kiong dalam memperingati Imlek. Puncaknya, nanti akan digelar perayaan Cap Go Meh. (mam)
Lunar New Year, Corona Virus Free
KEDIRI – Widespread outbreaks of the corona virus that has caused world upheaval lately, ignited the Tri Dharma people Tjoe Hwie Kong Kediri to be concerned. In the 2020 Chinese New Year commemoration, Saturday (1/2/20) yesterday, they held a Ci Suak prayer or a reject prayer, so that residents of the City of Kediri and its surroundings were not exposed to the corona virus. While at night, they held a thanksgiving prayer for King Thi Kong.
Head of Tri Dharma Tjoe Hwie Kiong, Prayitno explained, the prayer of Ci Suak was deliberately carried out so that the citizens of Kediri were not exposed to the very frightening Corona virus. Because, there are indeed Kediri residents who are currently in China. “We hope that the citizens of Kediri are safe from the corona virus,” said Prayitno, on the sidelines of the Ci Suak prayer.
According to Prayitno, the Ci Suak prayer or King Thi Kong’s rebellion and thanksgiving prayer, this is a series of Tri Dharma Tjoe Kiong’s activities in commemorating the Chinese New Year. The climax will later be held the Cap Go Meh celebration. (mam)
