PERKULIAHAN DI IAIN KEDIRI DILIBURKAN ; Dr. Ahmad Subakir M.Ag, Wakil Rektor IAIN Kediri
KEDIRI – Isu virus Corona terus menyebar seakan tanpa henti dalam waktu singkat. Setelah Pemkab dan Pemkot Kediri meliburkan para siswa SD, SMP,SMA sederajat, kemarin giliran IAIN Kediri memutusakan untuk meliburkan seluruh aktivitas pembelajaran di kampus, hingga 28 Maret mendatang. Selain itu, seluruh perjalanan luar kota dan luar negeri dihentikan. “Kalau soal konsultasi skripsi, ujian skripsi, tesis, dan sebagainya, masih akan berjalan seperti biasanya,”ujar Dr. Ahmad Subakir M. Ag, Wakil Rektor IAIN Kediri, usai rapat pimpinan IAIN terkait pencegahan virus Corona (16/3/2020).
Menurut Subakir, pada prinsipnya yang dihentikan atau diliburkan adalah proses perkuliahan di kampus. Tetapi para dosen diminta tetap memberikan materi perkuliahan melalui berbagai cara yang bisa dilakukan, mulai E-learning, tugas kuliah melalui group WA, google classroom, atau lainnya. “Terserah kreativitas dosen masing-masing. Prinsipnya, yang ditiadakan hanya perkuliahan di kelas,”tandas Subakir.
Subakir menjelaskan, ada beberapa mahasiswa IAIN Kediri yang sempat berada di luar negeri, tapi posisinya sudah pulang dan semuanya negatif. Langkah peliburan mahasiswa pada perkuliahan di kelas itu, sebagai bagian dari antisipasi perkembangan virus corona. “Kita belum mengetahui langkah selanjutnya setelah 28 Maret, akan kita lihat perkembangannya nanti,”kata Subakir. IAIN’s Turn Kediri Breaks Lecture

After the District Government and Kediri City Government dismissed elementary, junior high, and high school students of the same level, yesterday it was IAIN Kediri’s turn to decide to dismiss all learning activities on campus, until 28 March. Ag, Deputy Chancellor of IAIN Kediri, after a meeting of the leaders of IAIN related to Corona virus prevention (3/16/2020).
According to Subakir, in principle, which was terminated or closed was the lecture process on campus. But the lecturers are asked to continue giving lecture material through various ways that can be done, starting E-learning, lecture assignments through WA groups, google classroom, or others. “It is up to the creativity of each lecturer. In principle, what will be omitted is only lectures in class, “said Subakir.
Subakir explained, there were a number of IAIN Kediri students who had been abroad, but their positions had returned and all were negative. Step of students’ comfort in lectures in the class, as part of the anticipation of the development of the corona virus. “We don’t know the next step after March 28, we will see the progress later,” Subakir said.
