TOLAK CAWABUP : Yekti Murih Wiyati, salah satu perempuan kandidat calon bupati Kediri
KEDIRI – Dua Srikandi kandidat calon Bupati Kediri yang namanya sudah muncul belakangan ini, Yekti Murih Wiyadi dan Dini H.Setyoningsih, sama-sama menolak jika dalam perjalanan nanti ditawari posisi calon wakil bupati. Sebab, mereka mendaftar sebagai calon bupati, bukan wakil bupati. “Tidak mau. Saya mendaftarnya sebagai bupati,”ujar Yekti Murih Wiyati, ditemui usai rapat pleno penjaringan Calon Bupati Kediri (8/2/20) di kanor Partai Golkar Kabupaten Kediri.
Menurut Yekti, dia ingin fokus sebagai calon bupati, karena sama-sama berjuang keras, sama-sama mengeluarkan biaya, dan sebagainya. Jika posisi bupati, dia akan bisa membawa dan melaksanakan visi misinya. Kalau di posisi wakil bupati, belum tentu bisa. “Posisi yang menentukan itu bupati, bukan wakil bupati,”tandas Yekti, yang juga ketua KADIN Kabupaten Kediri itu.
Hal serupa diungkapkan Dini H. Setyoningsih. Saat ditanya kemungkinan dirinya digandeng kandidat lain sebagai Calon Wakil Bupati Kediri, Dini mengaku tidak akan menerima. “Tidak,”katanya singkat.
Dini mengaku hanya bersedia jika direkom sebagai calon Bupati Kediri. Dia akan mengikuti proses penjaringan dan penyaringan di Partai Golkar sampai selesai, dalam kapasitas sebagai Calon Bupati, bukan calon wakil bupati. (mam)
