KEDIRI – Ribuan santri Pondok Pesantren Lirboyo Kediri mulai berdatangan, Sabtu (20/6/20) setelah adanya kebijakan new normal di Indonesia. Kedatangan para santri itu dilakukan secara bertahap. Untuk sementara, mereka yang diperbolehkan datang lagi ke pondok baru santri dari di sekitar kawasan eks Karisidenan Kediri, yaitu Nganjuk, Tulungagung, Blitar, Trenggalek, dan Kediri. Jumlahnya sekitar 2.500 santri dari sekitar 28.000 santri di pondok Lirboyo dan cabang-cabangnya.
Kedatangan para santri itu dilakukan secara rombongan dipandu oleh koordinator daerah masing-masing, sehingga wali santri tidak perlu datang ke pondok. Begitu datang, para santri dan barang-barang bawaan diperiksa kesehatannya, disemprot disinfektan, dan diisolasi selama 14 hari di beberapa bangunan pondok yang sudah disiapkan.
Juru bicara Pondok Pesantren Lirboyo H. Abdul Mu’id Sohib alias Gus Muid, menjelaskan untuk sementara santri yang boleh kembali ke pondok hanya dari kawasan Kediri dan sekitarnya. Sedangkan dari kawasan lain seperti provinsi lain, luar Jawa, dan luar negeri belum dijadwalkan kedatangannya. “Nanti akan kita evaluasi dulu bagaimana hasilnya. Yang lainnya belum kita jadwalkan,”ujarnya, ditemui di sela-sela penerimaan kedatangan para santri.
Menurut Gus Mu’id, selama di bangunan isolasi, para santri akan diberi kegiatan-kegiatan ringan, seperti mengaji kitab kecil, jamaah, olahraga, dan sebagainya. Sedangkan jadwal belajar reguler direncanakan mulai 20 Juli mendatang. Sehingga masih ada waktu untuk kedatangan para santri yang lain. (mam)
