DSF, Gerakkan Wisata dan Ekonomi UMKM
KEDIRI – Gubernur Jawa Timur Khofifah Indarparawansa menantang agar tenun ikat Kediri mampu menjadi souvenir atau seragam nasional. Sebab, tenun ikat Kediri sangat berpotensi untuk dikembangkan ke skala yang lebih besar, mengingat dalam hal industri fashion, khususnya fashion syariah, Indonesia masuk dalam 10 besar dunia.

Tantangan itu, disampaikan Khofifah dalam pembukaan Dhoho Street Fashion (DSF) ke-6 di kawasan wisata wisata Gua Selomangleng, Minggu (22/11/2020), yang sekaligus untuk meningkatkan pariwisata Kota Kediri. Sehingga berbagai event termasuk DSF, dilaksanakan di kawasan wisata utama Kota Kediri, Gua Selomangleng.

“Kebetulan hari ini hadir Bapak Abdul Hakim Bafaqih, Komisi VI DPR RI yang membidangi industri, investasi, dan pariwisata. Saya kasih tantangan, tenun ikat kediri jadi salah satu souvenir atau seragam nasional,” kata Kofifah.
Sementara itu, Walikota Abdullah Abu Bakar menjelaskan, dalam hal penggunaan tenun ikat Kediri di lingkup Kota Kediri, sudah dilakukan, yaitu penggunaan tenun ikat Kediri untuk seragam, dilakukan pada setiap Kamis, sesuai Perwali. “DSF merupakan salah satu cara agar para penenun dan desainer Kota Kediri mendapatkan inspirasi cara menampilkan tenun yang lebih kreatif. Bisa kasual dan desainnya tidak harus formal,” kata Mas Abu.
Pada DSF ke-6 itu sendiri, ragam outfits kreatif ini ditampilkan dalam 32 outfits karya desainer nasional dan desainer Kota Kediri dalam tema ‘Energy of Kilisuci’. Desainer nasional yang tampil antara lain, Priyo Oktaviano, Era Soekamto, dan Samira M. Bafagih. Sedangkan desainer Kota Kediri yaitu Azzkasim Boutique, Numansa Batik Dermo, Luxe Caesar Boutique, dan SMK N 3 Kota Kediri. “Kilisuci adalah pesona welas asih yang menjadi simbol Kediri,” kata Era Soekamto, menjelaskan 12 outfits yang terangkum dalam koleksi Avalokitaswara.
Variasi outfits terlihat dari beragam interpretasi para desainer melalui kapsul koleksinya masing-masing. Mulai tampilan formal hingga kasual. “Kilisuci adalah karakter perempuan yang punya prinsip dan rela berkorban untuk melindungi Kediri dari marabahaya. Beliau bertapa di gua ini,” kata Ferry Silviana Abu Bakar, Ketua Dekranasda Kota Kediri.
Ferry Silviana berharap, DSF akan mengangkat tenun ikat Kediri dan menggerakkan perekonomian para UMKM tenun ikat dari hulu ke hilir, meski dalam suasana pandemi. Karena pendemi pula, acara ini tidak mengundang masyarakat luas namun tetap disiarkan live melalu channel youtube Kediri Tourism dan Abdullah Abu Bakar serta beberapa channel yang dimiliki Kota Kediri.
Acara terbatas dengan tetap memerhatikan protokol kesehatan dihadiri juga oleh Putri Indonesia 2020, Ayuma, Ketua Dekranasda Prov. Jatim Arumi Bachsin Emil Dardak, Abdul Hakim Bafagih (anggota Komisi VI DPRI), Perwakilan Forkopimda Kota Kediri, Kepala Kantor Perwakilan Bank Indonesia (BI) Kediri, Staf Khusus Bupati Lombok Timur, jajaran Pemprov Jatim, serta Dekranasda di Kab/Kota Sekitar. Governor Challenges Tenun Ikat as National Souvenir

KEDIRI – East Java Governor Khofifah Indarparawansa challenged the Kediri tie weaving (tenun ikat) to become a national souvenir or uniform. This is because Kediri Ikat weaving has the potential to be developed on a larger scale, considering that in terms of the fashion industry, especially sharia fashion, Indonesia is included in the top 10 in the world.
That challenge was conveyed by Khofifah at the opening of the 6th Dhoho Street Fashion (DSF) in the tourist area of Selomangleng Cave, Sunday (22/11/2020), which is also to increase tourism in Kediri City. So that various events, including the DSF, were held in the main tourist area of Kediri City, Selomangleng Cave.
“It just so happens that today Mr. Abdul Hakim Bafaqih, Commission VI of the House of Representatives in charge of industry, investment and tourism. I give you a challenge, weaving kediri ties is one of the souvenirs or national uniforms,” said Kofifah.
Meanwhile, Mayor Abdullah Abu Bakar explained, in terms of the use of Kediri tie weaving in the scope of Kediri City, it has been done, namely the use of Kediri tie weaving for uniforms, carried out every Thursday, according to Perwali. “DSF is a way for the weavers and designers of Kota Kediri to get inspiration on how to present more creative weaving. It can be casual and the design doesn’t have to be formal,” said Mas Abu.
In the 6th DSF itself, these creative outfits were featured in 32 outfits by national designers and Kota Kediri designers on the theme “Energy of Kilisuci”. National designers who appeared, among others, Priyo Oktaviano, Era Soekamto, and Samira M. Bafagih. Meanwhile, the designers of Kota Kediri are Azzkasim Boutique, Numansa Batik Dermo, Luxe Caesar Boutique, and SMK N 3 Kota Kediri. “Kilisuci is a compassionate charm that has become a symbol of Kediri,” said Era Soekamto, explaining the 12 outfits that were included in the Avalokitaswara collection.
The variety of outfits can be seen from the various interpretations of the designers through their respective capsule collections. Starting from a formal to casual look. “Kilisuci is a female character who has principles and is willing to sacrifice to protect Kediri from distress. She meditates in this cave,” said Ferry Silviana Abu Bakar, Chairman of the Kediri City Dekranasda.
Ferry Silviana hopes that DSF will lift the Kediri tie weaving and move the economy of the UMKM ikat from upstream to downstream, even in a pandemic situation. Because of the pandemic, this event did not invite the general public but was still broadcast live through the Kediri Tourism and Abdullah Abu Bakar YouTube channels as well as several channels owned by the City of Kediri.
The limited event while still paying attention to health protocols was also attended by Putri Indonesia 2020, Ayuma, Chairperson of the Provincial Dekranasda. East Java Arumi Bachsin Emil Dardak, Abdul Hakim Bafagih (member of Commission VI DPRI), Representative of the Kediri City Forkopimda, Head of the Representative Office of Bank Indonesia (BI) Kediri, Special Staff of the Regent of East Lombok, the ranks of the East Java Provincial Government, and Dekranasda in the surrounding districts / cities.
