KEDIRI- Walikota Abdullah Abu Bakar alias Mas Abu, menemui ketua umum DPP PAN di Jakarta, terkait rencananya untuk maju sebagai ketua DPW PAN Jawa Timur, pada Musyawarah Wilayah (Muswil) PAN Jawa Timur, yang rencananya digelar Agustus nanti. “Ya, kami menemui ketua umum di Jakarta. Kami sudah ketemu,”ujar Abdul Bagi, ketua DPP PAN Kota Kediri, yang mendampingi Mas Abu ke Jakarta.
Menurut Bagi, pertemuan tersebut berlangsung di rumah dinas Wakil Ketua MPR RI. Zulhas memberikan sejumlah arahan dan doa kepada Mas Abu untuk maju sebagai calon ketua DPW PAN Jatim. “Alhamdulillah, pertemuan itu berjalan lancar,”jelasnya.
Sementara itu, Mas Abu menjelaskan pada pertemuan itu Zulhas menyampaikan doa dan mendukung dirinya untuk maju sebagai calon Ketua DPW PAN Jatim. “Bang Zul memberi arahan agar proses pemilihan nanti berlangsung damai dan mengedepankan musyawarah mufakat. Bang Zul juga berpesan agar calon yang terpilih bisa merangkul semuanya, meskipun nanti di muswil ada perbedaan pilihan,” kata Mas Abu.
Mas Abu mengatakan, jika terpilih sebagai ketua DPW PAN Jawa Timur, dia berkomitmen untuk merangkul semuanya. PAN harus mengedepankan rekonsiliasi. Dinamika selama muswil dan pasca muswil harus sejuk. “Partai di masa sekarang harus relevan dengan zaman. Komunikasi partai dengan publik juga harus mengikuti itu. Namun, kita juga harus hormat dan merangkul para senior yang juga membesarkan partai,” janji Mas Abu.
Menurut Mas Abu, DPD-DPD harus menggarap segmen pemilih millenial. PAN harus kuat possioning-nya di pemilih muda, yang sudah dia buktikan saat kepemimpinannya sebagai Walikota Kediri. “Saya merangkul mereka dan memberdayakan banyak komunitas. Alhamdulillah efektif membantu selama saya memerintah dan menjadi basis massa pemilih saya di periode kedua sebagai Walikota Kediri. Nanti ini juga akan saya terapkan jika diberi amanah untuk memimpin DPW PAN Jatim,”katanya. (mam)
Zulhas Supports Mas Abu in PAN East Java

According to Mas Abu, the DPD-DPD must work on the millennial segment. PAN must be strong in its position in young voters, which he has proven during his leadership as Mayor of Kediri. “I embrace them and empower many communities. Alhamdulillah, I was effective in helping during my reign and became my mass voter base in the second period as Mayor of Kediri. “This will also be implemented later if I am given the mandate to lead the DPW PAN of East Java,” he said.
