MASIH SEPI : Kampus Uniska terlihat masih sepi mahasiswa karena perkuliahan masih dilaksanakan secara online
Mahasiswa Berharap Keringanan Biaya Kuliah
KEDIRI – Meski sudah memasuki new normal, Universitas Islam Kadiri (UNISKA), belum berencana menggelar perkuliahan tatap muka. Yang menarik, untuk mensiasati situasi pandemi yang tidak masih belum boleh kumpul-kumpul, UNISKA berencana menggelar wisuda dengan sistem drive thru, sambil jalan, tetap di kendaraan. “Rencana wisuda drive thru ini masih kita rapatkan, bagaimana prosedurnya,”ujar Zubaidi, ketua gugus covid-19 UNISKA, ditemui kediripost di kampus.
Zubaidi menjelaskan, untuk PKKMB, UNISKA akan menggunakan blended learning atau campuran. Masing-masing Prodi diminta memilih sekitar 5 mahasiswa atau lebih untuk mengikuti PKKMB di kampus. Namun hasiswa yang dipilih hanya dari Kediri, untuk dihadirkan di kampus. Mereka harus membawa surat rapid tes dan izin orang tua. “Untuk mahasiswa luar kota tetap dengan online,”tambahnya.

Sementara itu, Wakil Rektor I UNISKA, Dr. Supriyono, SP., MP menjelaskan, UNISKA sudah melakukan pembelajaran online semenjak wabah virus corona merebak, termasuk penyelesaian tugas akhir mahasiswa. Untuk semester ganjil ini, UNISKA menggunakan metode pembelajaran sistem blended learning atau campuran, antara daring dan luring. Medote Luring, rencananya akan dilaksakan di akhir semester ganjil. Jika tidak memungkinkan, maka akan tetap dilakukan secara daring. “Mahasiswa kami tidak hanya di perkotaan, ma,im juga ada yang di pelosok-pelosok daerah, sehingga ada beberapa mahasiswa yang kesulitan untuk komunikasi online”, tegasnya.
Sedangkan para mahasiswa, mayoritas menginginkan adanya perkuliahan offline, tatap muka. Karena perkuliahan online dinilai kurang efektif dan tugas menumpuk. “Banyaknya tugas yang terus menerus diberikan, seperti rentetan kereta api, malah membuat kami bingung. Karena selalu bertabrakan dengan jadwal sebelumnya,” ujar Sinta, mahasiswa FKIP Uniska.
Sinta juga mempertanyakan, jika untuk mencegah covid-19, mengapa hanya dunia pendidikan yang dibatasi, sedangkan tempat nongkrong, mall, dan pabrik, dibuka bebas.
Agak berbeda dengan Arif Firman, mahasiswa Fakultas Hukum Uniska. Dia perkuliahan online ada positif dan negatifnya. Positifnya, kuliah online bisa dilakukan di rumah sehingga bisa dekat dengan keluarga. Negatifnya, kuliah online tidak kondusif. Mahasiswa dituntut untuk memahami sendiri materi yang disampaikan dosen. “Kadang juga ada masalah dengan sinyal dan kuota,”tandas Arif.
Arif juga berharap, karena perkuliahan dilakukan online, mahasiswa mendapat keringanan biaya semester. Karena mahasiswa tidak bisa merasakan fasilitas kampus. “Kampus juga harus melakukan monitoring dan evaluasi kinerja dosen, yang dalam pembelajaran online ini masih dirasa kurang oleh mahasiswa,” tambahnya. UNISKA Prepare for Drive Thru Graduation
KEDIRI – Even though it has entered the new normal, Kadiri Islamic University (UNISKA), has not planned to hold face-to-face lectures. What is interesting is that to anticipate the pandemic situation that is still not possible to get together, UNISKA plans to hold a graduation with a drive thru system, while walking, staying in the vehicle. “We are still working on the plan for the drive thru graduation, what is the procedure,” said Zubaidi, head of the UNISKA covid-19 group, met by the head of the post on campus.
Zubaidi explained, for PKKMB, UNISKA will use blended learning or mixed. Each study program is asked to choose about 5 or more students to take part in the PKKMB on campus. However, the students selected are only from Kediri, to be presented on campus. They must bring a rapid test certificate and parental consent. “For students outside the city, stay online,” he added.
Meanwhile, UNISKA Vice Rector I, Dr. Supriyono, SP., MP explained, UNISKA has been conducting online learning since the outbreak of the corona virus broke out, including completing student final assignments. For this odd semester, UNISKA uses a blended learning system or mixed learning method, between online and offline. Medote Offline, the plan will be held at the end of odd semester. If that is not possible, it will still be done online. “Our students are not only in urban areas, but there are also those in remote areas, so there are some students who have difficulty communicating online,” he said.
Meanwhile, the majority of students want offline, face-to-face lectures. Because online lectures are considered ineffective and the task piles up. “The number of tasks that are continuously given, such as a train series, makes us confused. Because it always collided with the previous schedule, “said Sinta, a student of FKIP Uniska.
Sinta also questioned, if to prevent Covid-19, why would only the world of education be restricted, while hangouts, malls and factories were opened freely.
Somewhat different from Arif Firman, a student at the Uniska Faculty of Law. In online lectures, there are pros and cons. On the positive side, online lectures can be done at home so you can be close to your family. On the negative side, online lectures are not conducive. Students are required to understand the material presented by the lecturer by themselves. “Sometimes there are also problems with signals and quotas,” said Arif.
Arif also hopes that because the lectures are conducted online, students will get a reduction in semester fees. Because students cannot feel the campus facilities. “The campus must also monitor and evaluate the performance of the lecturers, which students think is lacking in online learning,” he added.
