Pembongkar Makam China, 4 Tersangka, 2 Dilepas

Diduga jaringan, 1 Bulan Melakukan 3 Kali Pencurian

KEDIRI – Para pelaku pencurian dengan membongkar makam di kompleks pemakaman China (24/10/20), Kelurahan Pojok, Mojoroto, akhirnya empat orang yang ditetapkan sebagai tersangka dan dua orang dilepas. Polisi menilai, dua orang yang sebelumnya sempat diamankan bersama empat pelaku lain itu, ‘hanya’ sebagai saksi. Diduga, para pelaku itu merupakan jaringan pencuri barang antik atau bersejarah. Dalam satu bulan, mereka sudah melakukan pencurian tiga kali di kompleks pemakaman China itu.

Empat tersangka itu adalah Susanto, 42, warga Kelurahan Pojok, Mojoroto. Teguh Haryono, 26, warga Desa Cibuyur, Kec. Warungpring, Pemalang, Jawa Tengah, tapi domisili di Desa Pulo Lor, Jombang. Abdul Chafid, 30, warga Desa Tempuran, Kecamatan Diwek, Jombang, dan Kasiman, 51, warga Desa Ganting, Kecamatan Gedangan, Sidoarjo. Sedangkan dua orang lainnya dilepas.  Mereka juga mengaku selama Oktober ini, mereka sudah melakukan pencurian 3 kali.

Polisi menyita sejumlah barang bukti berupa linggis, 2 patung singa, 15 bongkahan relief, uang senilai Rp 7 juta yang diduga dari hasil penjualan, 1 truk, dan 1 mobil Panther.  “Dari pengakuannya, tersangka menjual dengan harga Rp 450.000 per relief. Pelaku melakukan pencurian itu karena mendapatkan pesananan dari seseorang, saat ini pihak pemesan tersebut masih dalam penyelidikan ,” ungkap Kapolres Kediri Kota AKBP Miko Indrayana, di depan para wartawan.

Saat ditanya terkait dua orang yang dilepas itu, Kapolres Miko Indrayana mengaku karena keduanya hanya sebagai saksi. Saat ditanya lanjutan, apakah mereka berinisial SA dan RK, asal Trowulan, Mojokerto, yang dikabarkan sempat ikut diamankan? Kapolres tidak menjawab.

Seperti diberitakan sebelumnya, salah satu makam di kompleks pemakaman China, Kota Kediri, dibongkar komplotan maling. Mereka sudah menggali tanah keliling makam yang dibangun sekitar tahun 1901 atau sudah berumur sekitar 130 tahun itu. Sejumlah relief di sekitar makam itu sudah diambil. Diduga, mereka juga berusaha mengambil harta karun yang berada di dalam makam itu, tetapi belum sampai membongkar secara keseluruhan, mereka sudah tertangkap. (sul/mam)  

Chinese Graveyard, 4 Suspects, 2 Released

Allegedly the network, 1 month committed 3 times the theft

KEDIRI – The perpetrators of the theft by dismantling the graves at the Chinese cemetery (24/10/20), Pojok Village, Mojoroto, finally four people were named suspects and two were released. The police assessed that the two people who had previously been arrested along with four other perpetrators were “only” as witnesses. Allegedly, the perpetrators were a network of antique or historical thieves. Within one month, they had already committed thefts three times at the Chinese cemetery.
The four suspects are Ispan Susanto, 42, a resident of Pojok Urban Village, Mojoroto. Teguh Haryono, 26, resident of Cibuyur Village, Kec. Warungpring, Pemalang, Central Java, but domiciled in Pulo Lor Village, Jombang. Abdul Chafid, 30, a resident of Tempuran Village, Diwek, Jombang, and Kasiman Subdistricts, 51, a resident of Ganting Village, Gedangan District, Sidoarjo. Meanwhile, two other people were released. They also admitted that during this October, they had committed thefts 3 times.
The police confiscated a number of evidences in the form of crowbars, 2 lion statues, 15 chunks of reliefs, Rp. 7 million worth of money allegedly from the sale, 1 truck and 1 Panther car. “From his confession, the suspect sold it for Rp. 450,000 per relief. The perpetrator committed the theft because he received an order from someone. Currently, the buyer is still under investigation,” said Kediri City Police Chief AKBP Miko Indrayana in front of reporters.
When asked about the two released people, the Police Chief, Miko Indrayana, admitted that they were only witnesses. When asked further, were they with the initials SA and RK, from Trowulan, Mojokerto, who were reportedly also arrested? The police chief did not answer.
As previously reported, one of the graves in the Chinese burial complex, Kediri City, was dismantled by a gang of thieves. They have dug the ground around the tomb which was built around 1901 or about 130 years old. A number of reliefs around the tomb have been taken. Allegedly, they also tried to take the treasure that was in the tomb, but they had not yet completely uncovered it, they had been caught. (sul / mam)
