KEDIRI – Perekonomian masyarakat Kabupaten Kediri yang mayoritas petani, harus benar-benar dipikirkan dengan baik agar kesejahteraan mereka bisa terus meningkat. Mengingat, mayoritas masyarakat Kabupaten Kediri bekerja sebagai petani dengan lahan pertanian yang cukup luas. Untuk itulah, maka Pemkab Kediri terus berusaha meningkatkan layanan pada petani.
“Jangan membuat program asal-asalan untuk petani, bagaimana efek satu program ke petani, harus benar-benar dipikirkan dengan baik,”ujar dr. Hj. Haryanti Sutrisno, Bupati Kediri, saat memberikan sambutan pada peresmian gedung baru Dinas Pertanian dan Perkebunan Kabupaten Kediri di Jalan Sukarno Hatta, kompleks Pemkab Kediri, Senin (23/3/2020).
Hadir pada acara itu antara lain Kepala Dinas Pertanian dan Perkebunan, sejumlah staf pegawai Dispertanbun, dan sejumlah kepala OPD di lingkup Pemkab Kediri. Peresmian kantor baru itu ditandai dengan penandatangan prasasti oleh Bupati Kediri Hj. Haryanti. Gedung kantor baru itu menggantikan kantor lama di kawasan Simpang Lima Gumul.
Haryanti menjelaskan, sekitar 85 persen masyarakat Kabupaten Kediri adalah petani, hidup dari hasil pertanian, perhatian pemerintah harus diperbesar untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan petani. Dengan menempati kantor baru, diharapkan pelayanan kebutuhan pertanian dan petani, bisa ditingkatkan. “Dinas Pertanian dan Perkebunan tugasnya mengurusi para petani yang ada di Kabupaten Kediri. Kita tahu 85 persen enduduk bermata pencaharian sebagai petani, tugasnya Dinas Pertanian dan Perkebunan cukup berat. Harus bekerja lebih keras dan tekun untuk mensejahterakan petani,”tandasnya.
Bupati Haryanti juga berharap, kantor lama yang sekarang difungsikan sebagai ‘Serambi Tani’ dikelola secara lebih profesional agar bisa berkembang dengan baik. Sebab, ‘Serambi Tani’ merupakan wadah penjualan hasil pertanian di Kabupaten Kediri. “Kita harus bersama-sama meningkatkan pendapatan petani. Serambi Tani harus dikelola baik dan serius,”kata Haryanti. (mam/adv)
Farmers Must Be Thought Well
KEDIRI – The economy of the people of Kediri Regency, which is predominantly farmers, must be really well thought out so that their welfare can continue to improve. Bearing in mind, the majority of the people of Kediri Regency work as farmers with a fairly large agricultural land. For this reason, the Kediri Regency Government continues to strive to improve services to farmers.
“Don’t make random programs for farmers, how the effect of one program to farmers, must be really well thought out,” said Dr. Hj. Haryanti Sutrisno, Regent of Kediri, when giving a speech at the inauguration of the new building of the Agriculture and Plantation Office of Kediri Regency on Jalan Sukarno Hatta, Kediri Regency Government Complex, Monday (3/23/2020).
Present at the event included the Head of the Agriculture and Plantation Office, a number of Dispertanbun staff, and a number of DPO heads within the Kediri Regency Government. The inauguration of the new office was marked by the signing of the inscription by the Regent of Kediri Hj. Haryanti. The new office building replaces the old office in the Simpang Lima Gumul area.
Haryanti explained, about 85 percent of the people of Kediri Regency were farmers, living on agricultural produce, the attention of the government must be increased to improve the welfare of farmers. By occupying a new office, it is hoped that the service needs of agriculture and farmers can be improved. “The duty of the Agriculture and Plantation Office is to take care of the farmers in Kediri Regency. We know that 85 percent of the residents make a living as farmers, the task of the Department of Agriculture and Plantation is quite heavy. Must work harder and be diligent for the welfare of farmers, “he said.
The Regent of Haryanti also hopes that the old office which is now functioned as ‘Serambi Tani’ will be managed more professionally so that it can develop well. Because, ‘Serambi Tani’ is a container for the sale of agricultural products in Kediri Regency. “We must jointly increase farmers’ incomes.
