Mahasiswa Mulai Bosan, Ingin Tatap Muka
Students Are Getting Bored, Want To Face To Face
KEDIRI- Even though it has entered the new normal period, the Kediri State Islamic Institute (IAIN) will still implement online lectures for the odd semester that will run this. Although some universities have tried to implement face-to-face lectures. It’s just that IAIN will implement a lecturing platform so that online lecture hours don’t collide.

There is already an agreement, it remains only to implement it. For the method, we provide a lecture platform that regulates lecture hours, so that it does not become one time, “said Subakir.
According to Subakir, there are a number of exempt activities, lecturers and students may face face to face directly. Condition, they must comply with health protocols. “For proposals and thesis ratification, for example, students do have to face to face,” he said.

Roping said that regarding the independent pathway for the new student candidate exam plan, the implementation of the new student exam will be carried out online, but on campus. In order to avoid things that are not desirable, a wave system will be implemented so that in one wave the quota will not be exceeded. “After completing the exam, there will be a team that sterilizes the room,” he said.
On the other hand, some students of IAIN Kediri h began to feel bored with the online learning system. Meilia Nur Azizah, a student of Ushuluddin and Da’wah at the Communication Study Program of IAIN Kediri, said that she admitted that studying online has both the advantages and disadvantages. The good thing is, lectures can be more relaxed. “Relaxed in the sense that we don’t rush to have breakfast before leaving, don’t rush on the road for fear of being late, just sitting at home can attend lectures,” said the VII semester student.
However, Meilia also complained about her boredom with online lectures and the many assignments from lecturers. He already missed face-to-face lectures. He considered that the results of online lectures could not be maximally comparable to face-to-face lectures. Wasteful internet quota and many subjects left behind. “Moreover, the practicum course, which is supposed to do direct practice, but because it is done online, in the end it is not optimal,” he added.
