DPRD Kota Kediri Desak Pemkot Sosialisasi Intensif
KEDIRI – Pandemi Corona yang terus meluas hingga memunculkan banyak kepanikan di masyarakat, mendapat perhatian serius dari DPRD Kota Kediri. Mereka mendesak agar Pemkot Kediri melakukan sosialisasi terkait corona dan pencegahannya secara lebih intensif ke masyarakat. “Kita berharap Corona tidak sampai masuk di Kota Kediri. “Kita tahu Corona itu ada. Tapi jangan panik dan tegang,”ujar Sunototo, Ketua DPRD Kota Kediri, didampingi Firdaus alias Edo, Wakil Ketua.
Menurut Sunoto, akan segera melakukan rapat dengan sejumlah elemen seperti Pemkot, dinas terkait, Imigrasi, GG, dan sebagainya, termasuk Polres dan Kodim guna membahas secara khusus terkait wabah Corona ini. “Semua harus melakukan pencegahan, tanpa harus tegang. Kita tidak ingin ekonomi masyarakat lumpuh gara-gara isu corona,”tandas Sunoto.
Pondok pesantren dan GG yang menjadi tempat berkumpulnya massa besar, juga perlu mendapat perhatian khusus, agar mereka bisa dicegah munculnya corona di tempat-tempat massa berkumpul. “Sosialisasi pencegahan Corona mereka juga harus mengerti. Informasinya, sudah ada beberapa pondok pesantren menghentikan sementara budaya salaman sungkem,”jelasnya.
Ditanya terkait sejumlah daerah yang sudah menghentikan sejumlah event yang berpotensi dihadiri massa besar, seperti Car Free Day, konser musik, hingga pertandingan sepakbola, Sunoto mengaku langkah penghentian kegiatan itu masih belum ada di Kota Kediri. “Masalah itu nanti akan kita musyawarahkan bersama. Tapi sampai hari ini di Kota Kediri belum ada,”jawab Sunoto.
Sementara itu, Firdaus meminta agar tradisi salaman di sekolah-sekolah ditunda dulu untuk sementara. Mengingat, salah satu pola penyebaran Corona adalah dengan bersentuhan. “Langkah yang dilakukan step by step agar Corona tidak menjalar di Kota Kediri,”kata Firdaus. (mam)
