KEDIRI – Bupati Kediri Hj.
The Regent Supports the Central Government Program
KEDIRI – Regent of Kediri Hj. Haryanti in supporting the government program to immediately carry out the construction of Kediri Airport which has been included in the National Strategic Program (PSN), the support was conveyed when he received the arrival of 3 Indonesian Ministers at the Kediri Regency Hall (15/2/2020), after an evaluation meeting for airport development preparations.
Present at the airport construction meeting included Minister of Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi and Metri Public Works and Public Housing Basuki Hadimuljono.
The meeting resulted in several agreements, including the construction of an airport ground breaking plan which will be carried out starting next April. The development of Kediri Airport is targeted for 2 years, with the Government and Business Entity or KBPU Cooperation scheme.
All sources of funding from land acquisition to development from PT Gudang Garam Tbk Kediri. “During the process of land acquisition and this project, we have helped a lot in succeeding it, through the subdistrict head, village head, together with other officials,” Haryanti said when met after the meeting.
The meeting also revealed that the process of land acquisition left only around 0.16 percent or only 1.5 hectares, out of the total required land area of 450 hectares.
But these deficiencies are resolved through a consignment payment mechanism. Namely the government entrusts compensation money through the District Court of Kediri for those who are not yet willing to release their land.
Meanwhile, Budi Karya Sumadi said, airport management would later be handed over to PT Gudang Garam with a concession system for 30 to 50 years. “We appreciate the coordination between the local government level I and level II and investors, namely PT Gudang Garam in the Kediri Airport development project. “We have produced a ground breaking event in April and this is the first time a full private sector has invested in an airport,” Budi explained.
After the coordination meeting, the group of Minister of Kebinet Indonesia Maju then conducted a direct review of the construction site of Kediri Airport in three sub-districts, namely B Tanya, Grogol and Tarokan District. (Adv / bd)
