Dibangun 1901, Diduga akan Curi Harta Karun
KEDIRI – Makam China yang sudah berumur sekitar 120 tahun di kompleks makam china Selatan, Kelurahan Pojok, Mojoroto, dibongkar maling. Enam pelaku berhasil ditangkap polisi. Diduga, mereka akan mengambil harta karun yang diduga berada di dalam makam tersebut. Patung atau Kie Lin Kuno di bagian makam itu sudah terambil. Kini, para pelaku dimanakna di Polres Kediri Kota.
Informasi yang dikumpulkan kediripost, pembongkaran makam itu dilakukan pada malam hari. Dilakukan oleh setidaknya 6 orang dengan menggunakan berbagai peralatan bongkar, seperti pacul, palu besar, linggis, dan sebagainya. Kebetulan, saat kejadian ada orang yang sedang lewat. Melihat gelagat adanya pencurian, langsung dilaporkan ke polisi, kemudian para pelaku langsung diamankan.
Dugaan sementara, para pelaku itu akan membongkar makam itu untuk mengambil harta karun yang diduga ada di dalam makam. Indikasi itu terlihat dari penggalian dan pembongkaran cor-coran keliling bangunan makam. Bongkahan-bongkahan bekas bangunan makam itu banyak tergeletak di sekitar lokasi. Belum sampai menembus bangunan paling dalam, yang diduga berisi mayat dan harta karun, mereka sudah tertangkap polisi.
Lokasi makam yang dibongkar itu, memang jauh dari jalan umum di tengah makam yang biasa dilewati masyarakat, berdekatan dengan Tempat Pembuangan Akhir (TPA) sampah. Sehingga saat melakukan aksinya, tidak mudah diketahui orang.
Berdasarkan tulisan mandarin di makam itu, dibangun pada masa China dipimpin kaisar Kwang Sie tahun ke-16 atau sekitar tahun 1901. Hanya saja, belum jelas nama orang yang dimakamkan di situ. Sedangkan ahli warisnya, sudah tidak diketahui.
Kasatreskrim Polres Kediri Kota, AKP Verawaty Thaib S.Ik, saat dikonfirmasi membenarkan adanya pembongkaran makam di salah satu kompleks makam China bagian Selatan itu. Para pelakunya sudah ditangkap dan kini masih dalam pemeriksaan polisi. “Kita masih mendalami peran masing-masing,”ujar Verawaty. (mam)

KEDIRI – A Chinese grave which is about 120 years old in the South complex was dismantled by burglars. The six perpetrators were caught by the police. Allegedly, they will take the treasure that is thought to be in the tomb. The statue or Ancient Kie Lin in that part of the tomb had already been removed. Now, the perpetrators are meaningful at the Kediri Kota Police Station.
The information collected by kediripost said that the demolition of the tomb was carried out at night. Performed by at least 6 people using various unloading equipment, such as hoes, large hammers, crowbars, and so on. Incidentally, when the incident happened there were people passing by. Seeing signs of theft, they were immediately reported to the police, then the perpetrators were immediately secured.
The provisional suspicion is that the perpetrators will dismantle the tomb to retrieve the treasure that is thought to be in the tomb. This indication can be seen from the excavation and demolition of the castings around the tomb buildings. Many chunks of the former tomb building were lying around the site. They had not yet penetrated the innermost building, which allegedly contained bodies and treasure, they had already been caught by the police.
The location of the demolished grave is indeed far from the public road in the middle of the cemetery which is usually passed by the community, close to the garbage dump site. So that when doing the action, it is not easy for people to know.
Based on the Chinese inscription on the tomb, it was built during the Chinese era led by Emperor Kwang Sie in the 16th year or around 1901. However, it is not clear the name of the person buried there. Meanwhile, the heirs are not known.
Kasatreskrim of Kediri City Police, AKP Verawaty Thaib S.Ik, when confirmed, confirmed the demolition of the grave in one of the South complexes. The perpetrators have been arrested and are still under police investigation. “We are still exploring our respective roles,” said Verawaty. (mam)
