BPR Kota Nyaris Bangkrut?

NPL Sempat Tembus 50 Persen, Ada Tangan ‘Politik’?

KEDIRI – Diperiksanya BPR Kota Kediri oleh Kejaksaan Negeri (Kejari) Kediri, menimbulkan sejumlah spekulasi soal keberadaan bank milik Pemkot Kediri itu. BPR Kota Kediri, seakan nyaris bangkrut. Sehingga terlalu sulit untuk ‘disehatkan’.

DRS MUDJONO : Anggota Komisi B DPRD Kota Kediri

(mam)

City BPR Nearly go Broke?

NPL Had Penetrated 50 Percent, Was There a ‘Political’ Hand?

KEDIRI – The investigation of BPR Kota Kediri by the Kediri District Attorney (Kejari) has led to a number of speculations about the existence of the bank owned by the Kediri City Government. BPR Kota Kediri, seemed almost bankrupt. So it is too difficult to be “healthy”. A number of developing issues, Non-Performing Loans (NPLs) or bad loans account for about 50 percent of the credit channeled. In fact, the reasonableness of the NPL is around 2.5 percent. In addition, the issue arises that there is credit to “certain people” with a “leadership” recommendation with a large enough value, whose billing is faltering, due to “political” interference. A member of Commission B DPRD Kota Kediri, Mudjono, when confirmed, admitted that the condition of the City BPR was sick. His party had already held a hearing with the leadership of the new City BPR, together with the supervisory board and the Financial Services Authority (OJK) before the end of 2020. “At that time it was admitted, indeed the condition of the City BPR was sick,” he said. When asked about the very high NPL, around 50 percent, Mudjono also admitted that as far as he recalls the NPL at that time was around 50 percent. So that his party asked the new board of directors to take rescue and sanitation steps. “At that time, we had asked what the concept of sanitation was, what the steps were. But until now there has been no explanation on the concept of sanitation, “said Mudjono. Asked about the issue related to the existence of a number of credits to certain people with “leadership recommendations”, Mudjono admitted that he had heard the issue. But he didn’t know the truth for sure. “Yes, I’ve only heard about it, but I don’t know,” he added. As previously reported, the BPR Kota Kediri is currently in the process of investigating the Kejari regarding the possibility of irregularities at the bank owned by the Kediri City Government. The case of the BPR Kota Kediri which falls into the realm of law is the second case. (mam)
