(mam)

BuKos Big Declaration “Forbidden” by Police

The BuKos billboard was torn off by an unknown person

KEDIRI – The grand declaration of the Bumbung Kosong (BuKos) movement in Pare, which was originally held on Sunday morning (22/11/2020) was ‘banned’ by the Kediri Police, on the grounds that it was the Covid-19 pandemic and was bringing in large crowds. The grand declaration, which was planned to bring in around 1,000 volunteers, was finally postponed pending the situation.
Rahmad Mahmudi, head of the Bumbung Kosong movement in Kediri Regency, confirmed that the police had prohibited this grand declaration. He sent a notification letter to the police on Friday (20/11/2020) and was answered in writing by the Police. “The reason is covid-19. Actually, it’s a little hard for us to understand this. Because other groups also make declarations in some places. We are discussing what to do next while waiting for developments, “said Rahmad.
According to Rahmad, his party is still trying to reschedule the grand declaration. Regarding the form and time, it will still be discussed again. “We will still try to carry out this grand declaration. Incidentally Tuesday (11/24/2020) the open campaign schedule began. If other groups are allowed to gather the masses, then there is no more reason to ban the grand declaration, “he said.
Meanwhile, cases of vandalism of the socialization tools that were lost and damaged continue. This time, a large billboard in Sukorejo Village, Kec. Gurah was destroyed by an unknown person, so that it was not read by the passing people. In fact, the billboards had only been installed for about 1 week. “Maybe it was torn off with a tool at night after 00.00. Because before, I was in the vicinity of that location, the condition is still intact, “he said. (mam)
